Overview
As a Vice President (VP) in Cleared Margin Operations, you will play a crucial role in harmonizing processes and functions, improving transparency, and recommending solutions for immediate and long-term remediation. You will serve as the single point of contact for Listed Derivative & Cleared OTC Operations, aligned with the Front Office and Regulatory Reporting, and ensure operational excellence while meeting regulatory requirements.

• Provide oversight and governance for Client Clearing Operations process for the Listed Derivatives and COTC businesses that typically has a high level of client servicing, monetary exposure, regulatory risk and reputational /financial loss due to transaction nature, which can impact client relationships and firm reputation
• Monitor Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) of the process, and provide management with commentary and analyze the Root Cause and Leading/Contributing factors to various KPI misses and build a regulation framework to enhance the efficiency and risk control robustness in the process
• Manage the Vendor Resource Management, body of work, ensuring adequate review of service agreements, role matrix etc
• Ensure timely and accurate communication in a manner that is appropriate for that audience
• Keep Management informed of the exceptional occurrences, to enable appropriate action
• Develop effective working relationship across the front to back processes in multiple locations to enhance operating effectiveness How You'll Lead
• Interact with the Front Office, Regulatory Reporting, and Treasury Operations to ensure proper funding, compliance, and risk management
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the front-to-back processes in multiple locations to enhance operating effectiveness
• Keep management informed of exceptional occurrences and provide insights for appropriate action Skills You'll Need
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks based on criticality and impact
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities and Independent problem-solving skills and accountability
• Ability to coordinate and manage work across multiple business areas and functions, while working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
• Dedication to servicing a demanding internal and external client base
• Extensive experience with Listed Derivative Operations or Cleared OTC Margin (preferably both) Skills That Will Help You Excel
• Desire to learn process flows and connect with people
• Degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field, or relevant work experience in banking/finance/audit/consultancy
• Experience working in global, cross-matrix reporting organizations in the area of Client Clearing (Listed Derivatives and/or Cleared Over The Counter (OTC))
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and career development

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Chicago office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Chicago is $107,500 to $167,625. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
